Overview:
  • Client is seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, results-oriented senior data analyst to support Chief Administrative Office (CAO) data enablement and management activities.
  • This role includes gathering and writing data use case requirements, performing data analysis, and developing data relationship designs.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple workstreams, and engaging with business partners to define and deliver impactful and reusable data solutions.
  • This role is critical to enabling CAO-wide data initiatives and will directly influence how data is leveraged across key business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use cases.
  • Design and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and data accuracy.
  • Identify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoring.
  • Support database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutions.
  • Participate in data management documentation including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata management.
  • Evaluate upstream system of record changes for potential data impact and provide recommendations.
  • Translate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specifications.
  • Partner with technology and data governance groups to ensure alignment with the team's and enterprise data standards.
Required Skills:
  • MSSQL: Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Data Analysis: Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMS.
  • Documentation: Ability to define clear data sourcing and transform logic requirements and database/table/column specifications.
  • Experience with metadata management and data governance practices.
  • Proficiency in data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issues.
Soft Skills:
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environments.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Google Data Cloud stack (Dataplex, big query, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SSIS packages and jobs.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and Atlassian software (Jira)
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Analytics deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Analytics.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4 plus years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.


Pay Range: $46 - $52/hr. on W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
