PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
- As SAP S/4HANA Cloud MM Solution Advisor you are responsible for designing, building, and deploying SAP-based cloud ERP solutions.
- You will lead the analysis and design in the SAP MM area, often in close cooperation with the clients Warehouse Management & Material Management Teams, conduct structured testing internally and with users, and ensure stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements.
- For that you need a good understanding of the business requirements of the organizations.
- This involves ensuring the customer has a cloud mindset, follows fit-to-standard, and drives organizational change management to achieve a true public cloud environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- The SAP MM Consultant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP MM/WM/EWM modules, which includes ensuring system functionality, developing, and implementing customizations, and providing end-user support.
- Optionally taking responsibility in Inventory Management and Enterprise Warehouse Management area.
- Drive functional conversations and presentations with end user clients as an SAP SME for SAP MM/WM modules according to business requirements.
- Provide advisory guidance to SAP Clients leveraging industry best practices as recommended by SAP.
- Understanding of the technology layer and development practices for SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Influence key client stakeholders on their technology and operations strategy.
- Working with, managing and motivating teams spanning multiple geographies, cultures, and organizations.
- Analyse and drive the resolution of cross-functional issues.
- Develop internal best practices within your area of expertise.
- Support in building demo systems as suggested by SAP solution management team.
EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
- Experience in several industries and the industry the customer belongs to (core processes and trends of the industry)
- Business and solution-oriented, global mindset with good planning and analytical skills
- Liaison and consultative skills: negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests.
- Strong writing, presentation, mentoring, decision making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills; ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers, and team members.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of professional experience; demonstrated knowledge / expertise of SAP MM/WM/EWM module.
- Optionally experience in SAP Inventory Management AND SD.
- Working experience of SAP S/4HANA cloud.
- Certification in Manufacturing for SAP S/4HANA cloud, and/or other SAP Solutions is a plus
