About the Role

we are looking for a **highly skilled Oracle WMS Functional Consultant** with a strong background in Oracle SCM modules including Order Management (OM), Inventory, and Purchasing (PO). This is a **functional role with some technical responsibilities**, supporting production, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, and driving improvements in warehouse and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support **Oracle WMS functional setups**, configurations, and rules (e.g., Pick Release, LPN, Item Setup, Order Types).
* Provide **production support** and **business analysis**, managing day-to-day operations and issue resolution.
* Collaborate with **offshore counterparts** to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent delivery.
* Drive **requirements gathering**, fit-gap analysis, and documentation using tools like **Confluence**, **Jira**, and **Visio**.
* Work in **Agile environments**, managing backlogs, facilitating stand-ups, and aligning deliverables.
* Support users during **UAT** by creating training material and delivering knowledge transfer sessions.
* Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
* Create and maintain **process flow diagrams**, documentation, and scope/effort estimates.
* Act as a **WMS Solutions Lead** within distribution and logistics areas.

Must-Have Skills & Experience
* 5 10 years of Oracle WMS Functional consulting experience.
* Strong command of **Oracle SCM modules**: OM, Inventory, PO.
* Hands-on experience in **WMS configurations**, setups, and process optimization.
* Ability to perform **data analysis** using **PL/SQL**.
* Experience with **Agile/Scrum** methodologies and SDLC.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proven track record in creating business/technical documentation.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have Qualities

* Strong **stakeholder management** and **problem-solving** abilities.
* Prior experience as a **WMS Solutions Lead** in logistics/distribution.
* Ability to bridge the gap between business and development teams effectively.
