Job Description

Product Verification & Validation (PV&V) Planning / Reliability Engineer**

Work Authorization:
Visa sponsorship is not available, now or in the near future, for this position.
Shift: 1st shift
PPE: Metatarsal shoes/boots required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (4-year degree required).
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically for field or external lab testing.

Core Responsibilities

The PV&V / Reliability Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing test and analysis work to verify and validate product performance and reliability.

1. Verification & Validation Planning

  • Develop comprehensive test and analysis plans for verification and validation activities across a range of project complexities- from single components to complete product programs.
  • Establish short- and long-term test objectives, goals, and priorities.

2. Test Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate and lead PV&V test activities for mechanical/electrical subsystems and full vehicle systems.
  • Execute vehicle tests, field testing, and external lab testing as required.
  • Operate effectively within a collaborative team environment including PV&V, engineering design, and cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze complex test data to assess product performance and reliability.
  • Draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations to design and engineering teams.
  • Clearly document test results and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, design, reliability, manufacturing, and field support teams to drive issue resolution and product improvements.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide PV&V insights to ensure product readiness.

Preferred Qualifications What Sets the Candidate Apart

  • Prior experience with product verification and validation planning/execution.
  • Knowledge of systematic root-cause and corrective-action tools: PDCA, 8D, 5 Why, etc.
  • Exposure to Riding Lawn Equipment, Utility Vehicles (UTV/ATV), or similar off-road vehicle systems and applications.
