WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications
- CCNP, or equivalent experience.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.
- Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of continual computer networking experience.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus platform 5k, 7k.
- Experience working with Cisco Catalyst 6500 series switches.
- Experience working with an enterprise or carrier-class Cisco routers.
- Experience with Network Monitoring tools (Link Analyst, Solarwinds).
- DNS/DHCP knowledge and experience.
- Cisco firewall software configuration and management experience.
- Large Server Environment Experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skills Software:
- Cisco IOS Cisco NX-OS.
- Windows Server Windows 10/11.
- PRTG Cisco FirePower.
- Cisco ASA.
Network Connectivity:
- Managed Operations Processes Knowledge of Internet Infrastructure.
- Firewall, Security, and Load Balancing.
- Server/Network Monitoring Tools.
- Communication/Matrix Management Skills.
Technical Abilities:
- Good aptitude for troubleshooting, problem determination, and resolution.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to work independently, as well as within a group setting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP.
- Network monitoring and security knowledge.
- Remote Access implementation using VPN and Dial-Up.
- Wireless Networking Client Service.
- Courteous, helpful, and tactful in all communications.
- Strong leadership skills, able to lead and motivate a team of network professionals and have strong customer service skills.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Administrative.
- Make appropriate use of technical documentation, specialized test equipment, and diagnostic aids in resolving technical problems.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining and implementing WAN/LAN systems. The NE II must be able to maintain the network management platforms, firewall security, RAS system, and others as required.
- Supports and improves the customers large-scale IT environment with SLRs/SLAs for high availability and uptime.
- Manages, maintains, plans, schedules, integrates, and troubleshoots the overall network and its devices - WANs, LANs, WLANs, VPNs, VoIP, etc. and monitors network health.
- Will handle network installation planning, upgrades, cutovers, and testing.
- Will implement network security best practices. Below are the basic qualifications possessed by Network Engineer II.
