Job Details

Job Title: Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) with SAP Variant Configurator (VC) ARCHITECT

Location: Remote or St. Louis, MO

Contract: 6 Months

Role Objective:
Lead the integration of Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ) with SAP Variant Configurator (VC) to streamline the Quote to Cash and Plan to Manufacture processes, ensuring seamless collaboration between Sales, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams.

Core Responsibilities

Design and implement integration between Salesforce CPQ and SAP VC to:

o Enable Sales users to work primarily in Salesforce.

o Allow Manufacturing and Customer Service to operate primarily in SAP.

o Avoid duplication of configuration rules across systems.

Evaluate and present integration options, including:

o Data synchronization between CPQ and VC.

o Embedding SAP VC functionality within Salesforce CPQ (e.g., SAP VC window in CPQ).

Support the Automation wave of the project through October 2026, with potential extension to year-end.

Required Experience

Hands-on expertise in integrating Salesforce CPQ with SAP Variant Configurator.

Strong understanding of:

o CPQ rule-based configuration for accurate quoting.

o SAP VC rule-based configuration for BOM and routing generation.

Proven experience in Quote-to-Cash and Plan-to-Manufacture workflows.

Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms (SAP CPI & SAP BTP)for data exchange.

Ability to assess and recommend best-fit integration strategies (real-time, batch, API-based).

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.

Knowledge of Salesforce architecture and customization.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP integration.

Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities.
