Job Details

We are looking for a skilled Data Quality Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data quality improvement projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, project management methodologies, and a deep understanding of data quality principles and best practices. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, develop remediation plans, and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and integrity across various systems and processes.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage data quality improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria related to data quality.
Conduct data quality assessments and audits to identify issues, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and reliable data across the organization.
Define data quality metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor the effectiveness of data quality initiatives.
Establish data governance processes and workflows to facilitate data stewardship, ownership, and accountability.
Coordinate with IT teams to implement data quality tools, technologies, and automated processes to support data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
Provide training and support to end-users on data quality best practices, tools, and processes.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management through regular progress reports and presentations.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing data quality processes, tools, and methodologies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data quality management.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Project Manager leading data quality improvement projects in a complex organizational environment.
Strong understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience with data quality tools such as Informatica Data Quality, Talend Data Quality, or similar tools is preferred.
