Job Title: Job Title: Account Director Oil & Gas (Strategic Accounts)
Location: Dallas, Texas (with travel to client sites as needed)
Duration: Full-time
Role Summary:
As an Account Director, you will lead the strategic growth and relationship management
of one of our largest Oil & Gas accounts. You will be responsible for driving revenue,
expanding service offerings, and positioning as a trusted innovation partner in the
energy sector. This role demands deep industry expertise, strong executive
engagement, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the responsibility for the account, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Develop and execute a multi-year account strategy aligned with the client s transformation goals.
- Build and maintain C-suite relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on technology, engineering, and sustainability initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments.
- Drive cross-selling and up-selling of client s digital engineering, plant engineering, and sustainability solutions.
- Lead large deal pursuits, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure delivery excellence by collaborating with internal delivery teams and client stakeholders.
- Monitor project health, proactively resolve issues, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the account.
- Stay abreast of Oil & Gas industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, digital twins, carbon capture).
- Leverage insights to shape client offerings and client conversations.
- Conduct regular governance meetings with client leadership.
- Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and executive reporting to client leadership.
- Prospect new accounts and manage existing accounts to drive growth and strategic alignment.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in account management or business development in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proven track record of managing large strategic accounts ($10M+ revenue).
- Strong understanding of engineering services, digital transformation, and energy transition.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with global energy majors (e.g., Chevron, ExxonMobil, Aramco).
- Familiarity with technologies like IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and asset performance management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
