Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in supporting product security initiatives and managing critical projects within the organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and project management methodologies, ensuring smooth execution and delivery of objectives.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day project tasks and ensure requirements are accurately tracked using Jira.

Collaborate with the Security Automation and Cloud teams to align project goals and timelines.

Participate in agile scrum meetings and contribute to delivering solutions within two-week sprint cycles.

Help prioritize tasks and assignments to streamline workflows and meet deadlines.

Provide weekly status updates to the Project Management Lead, highlighting progress and addressing challenges.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures across products.

Take on a Scrum Master role when necessary, leading and managing scrum sessions to enhance team productivity.

Monitor cloud environments, including Azure, to support security and automation initiatives.

Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and best practices across all project phases.

Requirements

Proven experience in project management, preferably within IT or cybersecurity-focused roles.
Strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Azure.
Proficiency in using Jira for task management and tracking.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies and experience in leading scrum sessions.
PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Ability to provide clear and concise status reporting to stakeholders.
