Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating and streamlining operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)

  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

  • Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

  • Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK Stack

  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery

  • Troubleshoot issues across the stack: application, network, OS, and hardware

  • Maintain security best practices in all DevOps processes and infrastructure

  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

  • Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, CI/CD tools, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (e.g., CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Exposure to security and compliance practices (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for automation and performance optimization
