Retail Project Coordinator
Top Consulting is hiring a Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to our clients Program/Project Manager in program control and administration and actively participate in activities as requested.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Facilitate resource onboarding and roll-off.
- Maintain the resource plan.
- Maintain the program and roadmap project plans and critical path.
- Produce program management reports and status reports on a regular basis.
- Assist in the facilitation of issue and risk management processes.
- Assist in the facilitation of the scope change process.
- Create project documentation, discussion documents and project meeting materials.
- Facilitate and lead meetings on project activities as assigned.
- Communicate with project team members on project issues as appropriate.
- Assist the Program/Project Manager with budget management and invoice tracking, including project expenditure reconciliation.
- Schedule and handle logistical support with Stores.
- Maintain and schedule Program Project Steering Committee meetings and assist in preparation of documentation/meeting minutes for each meeting.
- Take meeting minutes and conduct meeting follow-up and research.
- Perform meeting follow-up including communicating directly to project team members regarding expected next steps and agreed upon goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
- 5 years experience in a project coordinator role
- Experience with basic productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Experience with advanced Excel features/functions (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, macros)
- Experience with project management software (i.e. Microsoft Project)
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
- Experience with project financial activities (i.e. expense reconciliation, invoice tracking) and basic accounting practices
- Experience with system development life cycle methodologies
- Experience documenting, revising and maintaining workflows and organizational charts using Microsoft Visio
- Retail industry experience preferred specifically in POS systems space.
