Position: Android Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term
Job Details:
Experience: 10+ years (with minimum 4 5 years in architecture/design)
Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, design, and development of Android applications at scale.
Define technical roadmaps, architecture patterns, and frameworks for native Android apps.
Drive performance optimization, security, and scalability across Android solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Backend, QA) to deliver world-class mobile experiences.
Mentor engineering teams and review designs/code for compliance with best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks for adoption.
Ensure alignment of mobile architecture with enterprise-level architecture and standards.
Required Skills
Deep expertise in Android development using Java/Kotlin.
Proven experience in architecting large-scale, high-performance Android apps.
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, UI/UX design guidelines.
Hands-on experience with performance tuning, memory optimization, and battery efficiency.
Strong understanding of mobile security principles and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps for mobile apps. Knowledge of backend integration (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
