Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Microservices Enterprise Architect with deep
expertise in TM Forum s Open Digital Architecture (ODA) to lead the design and
implementation of scalable, cloud-native, and standards-compliant digital platforms
for Tier-1 telecom operators and service providers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microservices architecture at scale, and experience working in North American and/or Western European telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture Leadership
Define and evolve the enterprise-wide microservices architecture strategy
aligned with TM Forum s ODA and Open APIs.
Lead the decomposition of monolithic BSS/OSS systems into modular,
reusable, and interoperable microservices.
Drive the adoption of component-based architecture, domain-driven
design (DDD), and event-driven architecture (EDA).
Solution Design & Governance
Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure, and
cloud-native microservices solutions.
Establish and enforce architecture governance, design patterns, and
reference models.
Ensure compliance with TM Forum standards, GDPR (EU), CCPA (US), and
telecom-specific regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to align
architecture with strategic goals.
Present architecture roadmaps and technical strategies to executive
stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Technology Enablement
Lead the selection and implementation of modern platforms and tools
including:
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm,
OpenShift
Service Mesh & API Management: Istio, Envoy, Kong, Apigee
Messaging & Streaming: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Open Telemetry
Security: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Zero Trust Architecture, API
security
CI/CD & DevSecOps: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, Terraform, Vault,
SonarQube
Mentorship & Capability Building
Mentor solution architects and engineering teams on microservices, cloud-
native design, and TM Forum standards.
Build internal capability around ODA, Open APIs, and agile architecture
practices.

Certifications:
Certifications preferred:
TOGAF, TM Forum ODA/Frameworks, Kubernetes
(CKA/CKAD), AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform Architect.

Experience:
12+ years in enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in microservices and cloud-
native architecture.
3+ years of hands-on experience implementing TM Forum ODA in Tier-1
telecom environments
Experience with large-scale digital transformation programs in the telecom
sector.
