Network Engineer Specialist - $106 CTC - ONSITE (Must be LOCAL to TX)

Location Requirement: This position requires candidates to be in onsite 4-5 days a week. Candidates must be LOCAL and cleared to work.

Responsible for developing and executing short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity, reliability, scalability, and security needs are met now and into the future.

• Manages MDF and IDF maintenance programs and ensure schedule is adhered to and coordinated with production requirements and Data Center objectives
• Obtains and reviews vendor bids for support and repairs; determines appropriate vendor, ensures vendor adheres to quality, scheduling, budgetary guidelines, policies, procedures and standards.
• Participates in strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technology across the organization.
• Participates in the development, tracking, and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
• Approves, prioritizes, and controls projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
• Manages and establishes priorities for maintenance, design, development, and analysis of network equipment & systems.
• Coordinates with data center services (DCS), third-party vendors. Leads, directs, and utilizes knowledge on best practices in area related to network.
