Job Details

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to help us enhance and optimize their CRM platform, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud. In this role, you'll lead the development of tailored applications and features within Salesforce to support customer relationship workflows and other core business operations. You'll also be responsible for integrating Salesforce with other systems (like MuleSoft), ensuring robust data flows and system security, and providing expert-level technical support. This role requires 3 days a week on-site in the Philadelphia market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions aligned with business goals and industry standards.
  • Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration and development issues within the Salesforce environment.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce license models to match usage requirements.
  • Architect and deliver technical solutions that address business requirements such as document handling, data exchange, logic validation, and process automation.
  • Offer guidance to UI/UX teams on leveraging Salesforce capabilities to enhance user experience.
  • Coach and support junior developers through collaborative development, code reviews, and mentoring.
  • Identify and implement platform improvements, new features, and bug fixes to continuously improve system performance.
  • Communicate regularly with technical stakeholders to provide updates, resolve challenges, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Handle administrative tasks within Salesforce, including profile and permission setup, layout customization, and building reports and dashboards.
  • Support deployed applications through performance monitoring, deployment assistance, and user issue resolution.
  • Build administrative tools and components that streamline operations and improve platform usability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting the performance and stability of the Salesforce environment.
  • Respond to incident tickets promptly, ensuring clear documentation and communication throughout resolution.
  • Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by documenting repeatable processes and proposing technical enhancements.


Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field-or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Salesforce development, including work with data visualizations, integrations, and complex technical requirements.
  • Strong command of development languages and formats like JSON, XML, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Background in working with multi-platform environments and incorporating redundancy and failover strategies.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and tools such as Copado, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
  • Holds relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or App Builder).


Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
  • Exposure to financial services or banking environments.
  • Prior work involving MuleSoft or similar integration tools.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security standards and data compliance practices.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical abilities.
  • Clear and concise communicator, comfortable translating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
