Description

Duties and Responsibilities Professional communication across all types of communication channels. Ability to write technical documents that every audience can understand. Data analytics mindset which results in data correlation, telling a story with the data, and then acting upon the data. Monitor and analyze security alerts, events, and incidents to promptly detect and respond to threats. Participate in incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery, in the event of a security incident. Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability agents and scanners, endpoint detection agents, identity and access management (IAM) solutions, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems. Participate in security awareness and training programs for employees and contractors to promote a culture of security awareness. Stay updated with cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure the organization remains secure. Provide vendor due diligence reviews, including SOC2 and vendor risk assessments. Drive change to improve the overall IT and security posture. Establish solid relationships with other teams and provide advisement as needed. Ensure the protection of CACU information assets through the technical enforcement of organizational policies and regulations. Provide evidence and meet with internal and external audit and compliance teams. Conduct security and vulnerability assessments on systems and applications to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation actions. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for assisting in safeguarding the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of CommunityAmerica's information assets. In this capacity, the role involves maintaining Information Technology (IT) and security standards and best practices and recommending improvements to existing and new implementations. The Information Security Analyst is pivotal in helping drive organizational change to enhance the organization's security posture and mitigate risks. Responsibilities extend to formulating and maintaining strategies for security breach response and recovery and staying abreast of emerging threats and prevailing trends in information security. To excel in this role, an understanding of IT fundamentals and industry best practice, analyze data, derive a conclusion, and act, technical writing skills, team player, and time management.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
