Job Summary
Marketing Automation & CRM Administrator (Technical Role)
We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Marketing Automation & CRM Administrator to join our team. This role will not focus heavily on content creation or marketing strategy role, although having some basic design skills is a plus, this position focuses on the technical administration, configuration, and optimization of marketing automation and CRM platforms, including using ETL tools such as Jitterbit and Informatica.
Candidates should be comfortable working across systems, managing data integrity, and building automations.
We are currently migrating to a new Salesforce org utilizing Education Cloud and plan to transition to Marketing Cloud Growth within the next 1-2 years. This role will lead the technical aspects of that migration in collaboration with our Associate Director of Software Solutions.
Responsibilities
Marketing Automation (60%)
Administer and maintain marketing automation platform (Pardot, migrating to Marketing Cloud Growth in 1-2 years) and Salesforce CRM, ensuring system integrity, performance, and uptime.
Build, manage, and troubleshoot automated workflows, lead routing, and campaign logic-not email content or visual assets.
Configure data integrations between CRM and marketing platforms, ensuring clean data flows and alignment across systems.
Build dynamic segments, scoring models, and engagement logic to support marketing and admissions workflows.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) through technical controls and automation.
CRM (20%)
Design and implement CRM workflows, validation rules, permission sets, and custom fields/objects.
Support platform migrations and system upgrades, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into system requirements and workflows.
Analysis (10%)
Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making in marketing and enrollment operations.
Training/Instructional/Documentation (10%)
Provide platform support to end-users, including training, documentation, and issue resolution.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical administrator role for a CRM or marketing automation platform.
Experience with Salesforce, Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement), Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms.
Proficiency in diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart) for workflow/process documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage platform health and user needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, or scripting logic used in marketing systems.
Knowledge of basic HTML/CSS as it relates to troubleshooting email render issues or template structure (not email design).
Salesforce Administrator and/or Pardot Specialist certifications are a plus.
