Job Details

The Senior Business Systems Analyst - Finance Applications is responsible for the analysis, configuration, support, and enhancement of finance applications essential to business operations. This role focuses on Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM, working closely with business stakeholders, IT partners, and managed service providers to ensure reliable performance, timely enhancements, and alignment with business needs.

This position requires a deep understanding of finance processes, strong analytical skills, and hands-on expertise in Oracle application configuration and support. The Senior BSA will participate in solution design, manage application changes through the full SDLC, and ensure compliance with company and IT standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand and document finance processes and requirements.
  • Provide hands-on configuration, enhancement, and production support for Oracle Fusion Financials (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, Projects, Fixed Assets, Procurement) and Oracle EPM (budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation).
  • Collaborate with offshore/nearshore managed service teams to coordinate support, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements.
  • Lead solution design efforts based on business goals or problem statements, including requirement gathering, documentation, and implementation planning.
  • Execute small to medium projects and enhancements using a standard SDLC approach.
  • Support and coordinate application patches, releases, and integrations, ensuring system stability and security.
  • Develop and maintain process flows, data flows, and architecture diagrams for supported systems.
  • Ensure application security, compliance, and adherence to company IT standards.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
  • Stay current with Oracle technology updates and best practices.

Qualifications: Education and Experience
  • Minimum Education: Associate Degree required (Bachelor's preferred).
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM.
  • Strong functional knowledge of finance processes and ERP workflows.
  • Proven experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, and delivering enhancements in Oracle applications.
  • Experience working with offshore or nearshore managed service providers.
  • Familiarity with integration points between Oracle Fusion modules and other enterprise systems.
