Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Functional Tester with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in application testing, accessibility compliance, automation frameworks, and cross-platform testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Application Testing: COVID/Pandemic-related initiatives

  • Testing Experience: 6 years (Analysis & Testing)

  • Testing Methods: Black Box Testing, Usability Testing (5 years)

  • Tools & Technologies:

    • HP ALM (5 years)

    • QTP/UFT (5 years)

    • Selenium WebDriver, Selenium IDE (5 years)

    • SQL Database (5 years)

    • .NET Web Application Testing (5 years)

    • JCL, Mainframe knowledge (3 years)

  • Automation:

    • Developing and executing automation scripts (Selenium) (3 years preferred)

  • Accessibility (ADA) Testing:

    • WCAG 2.0, Section 508 compliance (3 years)

    • WAI-ARIA standards (3 years)

    • Experience with assistive technologies: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Android Talkback

    • Accessibility strategy consulting for development teams

  • Cross Testing:

    • Cross Browser Testing (3 years)

    • Cross Device Testing (3 years)

  • Additional Knowledge:

    • SDLC (6 years)

    • Thin client architecture

    • Web design & development

    • HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript

    • Mobile app accessibility

  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • IIST or ISTQB Software Testing Certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, usability, and black-box testing for enterprise applications.

  • Conduct application testing for pandemic-related initiatives.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium.

  • Ensure application compliance with WCAG 2.0 (A, AA, AAA) and Section 508 standards.

  • Work with assistive technologies for accessibility testing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

  • Execute cross-browser, cross-device, and web/mobile accessibility tests.

  • Maintain documentation in HP ALM and contribute to QA process improvements.

  • Support large-scale application testing and maintain testing standards.
