About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve moderately complex engineering challenges and support large-scale technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning and execution of software engineering projects with moderate complexity.
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges by evaluating multiple variables and trade-offs.
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Build and deploy microservices, APIs, and micro frontends to support scalable architectures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure alignment with engineering goals and compliance requirements.
- Apply Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software in iterative cycles.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or equivalent experience through consulting, military service, or education.
- Proven experience leading or contributing to large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in full-stack development using Java and either React or Angular.
- 3+ years of experience designing and deploying microservices and APIs.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile development practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
