Solution Architect Salesforce Commerce Cloud

6 months to 1 year (Contract to Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Solution Architect with strong DevOps expertise to lead the technical strategy and delivery for a complex, multi-cloud eCommerce client. This role requires a blend of deep SFCC knowledge (including SFRA and PWA Kit), cloud integration expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate is highly technical, can seamlessly communicate with both executives and developers, champions automation, and can guide cross-functional, hybrid teams in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Solutioning:
• Architect end-to-end SFCC solutions aligned with client business objectives and delivery standards.
• Define and enforce best practices for SFCC development, deployment, and cloud integrations.
• Support platform migrations and integrations with AWS, Azure, and third-party APIs.
• DevOps & Delivery Excellence:
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and performance tuning for SFCC environments.
• Enhance DevOps maturity and implementation strategies across client and partner teams.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to track technical success and operational effectiveness.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Partner with client stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure cohesive solutioning.
• Actively contribute to architecture discussions, technical roadmaps, and long-term planning.
• Mentor developers and help build technical capability within the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of SFCC development and architecture, including SFRA and PWA Kit.
• DevOps: Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and cloud-native DevOps for SFCC deployments.
• Cloud & Integrations: Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Additional Platforms: Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms (CommerceTools, Magento, Shopify) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining delivery excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Architect or B2B Commerce Architect (preferred).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Exposure to AI-driven personalization, mobile commerce, and omnichannel experiences.
• Domain expertise in industries like EduTech, CBS is preferred
