Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to join our consulting team and lead architecture strategy and solution design for the Supply Chain Inventory and Ordering domain.
As a member of our team, you will bring deep domain expertise, technical leadership, and a strategic mindset to help shape and deliver enterprise-grade solutions across global supply chain and retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Strategy: Define and evolve target and transition architectures for inventory and ordering systems aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Solution Design Leadership: Lead the design of end-to-end architecture across multiple supply chain organizations (SCOs), ensuring seamless integration and data flow.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders, product owners, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and best practices across initiatives.
  • Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend platforms, tools, and vendors that align with business and technical objectives.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet global security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Expertise & Domain Focus:
As a Lead Architect, you will:

  • Provide deep expertise in supply chain and retail domains, including replenishment planning, inventory management, order orchestration, and outbound logistics.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership across multiple vendor solutions (Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365), integration platforms, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Proven experience with o9 Solutions or similar planning platforms.
  • Deep understand systems interactions and dependancies, what business functions they enable, and how to manage interdependencies.
  • Deliver high-impact architecture artifacts and guide clients through complex transformation journeys.

Desired Deliverables:

  • High-level conceptual, logical, and process flow designs.
  • Detailed solution architecture artifacts, including:
    • Application and integration architecture diagrams
    • Data flow and system interaction models
    • Sequence and activity diagrams
    • Interface specifications and service contracts
  • Architecture roadmaps and transition plans aligned with a North Star vision.
  • Solution options with clear recommendations and rationale.
  • Presentations and documentation tailored for technical and business leadership.
  • Participation in RFI/RFP processes and vendor evaluations.
  • Active involvement in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and governance forums.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in IT, with 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
    • 10+ years in supply chain domains, including inventory, order management, and fulfillment.
    • Experience in QSR, retail, or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, and o9 Solutions.
    • Strong background in systems integration, ERP, and cloud-native architectures.
    • Proficiency in APIs, microservices, and event-driven design.
  • Consulting Skills:
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to lead architecture engagements in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
