Classification Minimum Requirements:
An associate's degree and two years of appropriate experience or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Job Description:
Assists in Installation and implementation of weather station related network infrastructures (e.g., communication hardware, sensors, data loggers)
Assists in applicable weather station related network installation projects (e.g., communication hardware, sensors, data loggers)
Assists in troubleshooting and resolving network issues as they relate to weather station communication hardware, sensors, and data loggers
Assists with identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting weather station related network issues
Provides preventative actions and recommendations and assists in finding solutions to recurring weather station related network problems
Serves as technical resource for customers
Maintains vehicles used to travel to various network locations (e.g., FAWN weather stations)
Expected Salary:
$26.34 - $31.13/hour, commensurate with education and experience
Required Qualifications:
An associate's degree and two years of appropriate experience or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred:
Experience working with weather station related equipment such as data loggers and sensors.
