Description: Our client is currently seeking a Video Conference Support Engineer

About the Role

As a Video Conference Support Engineer, you will be a critical part of a global support team, ensuring seamless video conferencing experiences for our users. This is a technical role with a strong focus on implementation, configuration, and support for enterprise-grade audio-visual (AV) solutions. You'll be working with multiple technology platforms and will have an opportunity to work globally with a diverse team. This is a 24x5 support role, and you will be a key player in ensuring our video conferencing infrastructure runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

Design and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade video conferencing solutions, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and others.

Operational Support: Oversee the smooth operation of hybrid meetings, webinars, and virtual events. Act as a final escalation point for complex technical issues during high-profile meetings and live events.

Infrastructure Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with IT, Facilities, and Security teams to optimize AV infrastructure and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors for AV hardware, software, and support services.

Documentation and Training: Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for video conferencing support and preventive maintenance. Provide detailed project documentation and deliver as-built training to junior engineers.

Troubleshooting: Independently troubleshoot and debug complex solutions involving mixed media.

Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement. Stay current with industry trends and recommend new tools or upgrades to enhance user experience.

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a video conferencing support or AV engineering role.

Strong technical skills in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting major video conferencing platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Experience with enterprise AV infrastructure, including codecs from vendors like Poly and Logitech.

Demonstrated ability to create detailed project documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AV equipment from Polycom and Logitech.

Exposure to reporting and analytics initiatives for AV systems.

Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers.
