Position Title: Core .NET Architect

Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Joining Mode: Long Term Contract

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Core .NET Architect to design, develop, and oversee scalable enterprise-level applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud architecture, microservices, and modern application frameworks.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and DevOps teams to define the technical roadmap and ensure best-in-class software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions using .NET Core / .NET 6+ frameworks.
  • Define architectural standards, frameworks, and guidelines for the development team.
  • Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to translate requirements into architectural blueprints.
  • Lead development efforts, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineering teams.
  • Integrate applications with Azure / AWS Cloud Services, ensuring optimized performance and reliability.
  • Implement microservices architecture, API management, and containerization using Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
  • Expertise in Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, and Event-Driven Design.
  • Proficiency in Azure / AWS Cloud, SQL / NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns, DDD (Domain Driven Design), and Clean Architecture principles.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React) is a plus.
