Security Operations Manager

Job Description A global law firm with a heavy presence in Center City Philadelphia is currently looking for a Security Operations Manager. This particular company is a well recognized name in the industry and is looking for a seasoned leader who can primarily people manage while being able to sit with C-Suite executives and add strategy and value to the IT cybersecurity roadmap. This is a full time position that can operate on a 100% remote basis. While it is remote, there is an office in Center City Philadelphia and the preference is for the target candidate to be within 50 miles of the city.
This role is focused on strategy leadership as opposed to the typical hands on high level escalation point. The ideal candidate will have a background in infrastructure and have spent the last 7-20 years in cybersecurity. Someone who was once hands on is certainly preferred as this will bleed into the responsibilities of this role, although its not a hands on position. The main goal is to focus on cyber trends globally and lay out the roadmap of strengthening the posture of the program moving forward and to continuously think about ramifications of threats presented. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 5-7 years of experience in cyber security
• Previous experience in general IT and infrastructure
• Experience in security operations

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• CISSP or other relevant certifications
