Solution IT Inc. is looking for Network Engineer for one of its clients in San Jose, CA / Hybrid
Candidate needs to go onsite atleast 3 days in a week.
Job Title: Network Engineer
Summary:
- Oversee and participate in the daily support and maintenance of all network systems
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution of network issues and events
- Complete data center maintenance including racking, stacking, and other operational work, including core network infrastructure
- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of all network services
- Provide technical expertise in network topology documentation, implementation, and administration of network technologies
- Partner with engineering to enable new tools and services
- Work with different functional groups throughout the company to maintain availability of IT solutions
- Daily administration of network infrastructure (on prem and cloud)
- Support cloud infrastructure and services
- Manage IP inventory
- Manage Certificate inventory, domains, and DNS
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and corp policies
- Maintenance of all network devices, including upgrades, patching, capacity
- Support and maintain cloud-based proxy and VPN
- Support and maintain wireless infrastructure
Required Skills
- University degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field of study (preferred)
- Network certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, AWS or Azure, etc)
- Extensive hands-on datacenter experience (racking, stacking, switches, cable management, NAC, WAP, UPS, etc)
- Extensive expertise of core networking concepts and OSI model
- Extensive knowledge of site engineering, site planning, and capacity planning
- Extensive knowledge of security concepts and zero-trust architecture
Work Site: San Jose, CA / Hybrid
