Job Title: Lead Business Systems Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 12 Months

Job Overview: We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to support the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise business systems. This role provides the highest level of technical and functional expertise, focusing on ERP systems that support finance, HR, and customer management. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, and will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of complex system solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead systems analysis and design efforts for large-scale or complex enterprise applications.

  • Create and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules.

  • Facilitate joint application design (JAD) sessions and technical/business working groups.

  • Conduct in-depth systems studies and prepare specifications for ERP configurations.

  • Serve as a project leader for application implementation, upgrades, or enhancement projects.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system-related problems in both new and existing applications.

  • Oversee the development of data files, test scripts, and system documentation.

  • Ensure quality control standards and procedures are followed.

  • Collaborate with business users to determine needs and translate them into technical requirements.

  • Mentor and coach junior analysts and technical staff; may supervise team members.

  • Coordinate the activities of internal staff and external consultants as needed.

  • Ensure seamless customer service and demonstrate commitment to innovation, integrity, and efficiency.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of:

  • ERP systems, including specific enterprise modules (HR, Finance, CRM)

  • Structured systems analysis and design methodologies

  • Process modeling, data modeling, and form design

  • Testing practices, fit/gap analysis, and control procedures

  • Best practices in project planning and supervision

Ability to:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues effectively

  • Communicate technical ideas in a clear and concise manner

  • Develop and execute test plans for enterprise applications

  • Produce well-written documents in English with proper grammar and structure

  • Lead and mentor a team of business systems professionals

  • Communicate confidently in both individual and group settings

  • Sit for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, configuration, and testing of enterprise applications

  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
