Network Administrator
The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. This is why we require you, an experienced network techni cia n skilled at designing the precise network the Army client needs, to provide training where it's needed.

As a network administrator on our team, you are a member of a team of network administrators and techni cia ns. You'll use your advanced networking experience to support Mission Training Complex ( MTC ) daily operations, training, and exercise events. Your knowledge of network protocols, network troubleshooting, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your expertise in Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) and cybersecurity controls, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on distributed exercises and missions to the point of need.

You'll apply your expertise as a network techni cia n as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Army evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience in network architecture design and implementation
  • Knowledge of network planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of network hardware and sof tware components
  • Knowledge of technology integration, information flow, configuration and implementation of LAN, WAN, DNS, and DHCP, firewalls and security, and storage and backup methodologies
  • Secret clearance
  • Asso cia te's degree in a network management field
  • DoD 8570.01-m baseline computing environment ( CE ) IAT II certification
  • Network+ certification


Nice If You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Network Management or a related field
  • CCNA certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
