Duties:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to support the rewrite of the Project Portfolio Database (PPD) application and the development of a new time tracking module within it. This role involves building and maintaining scalable, n-tiered applications using modern Angular and Java Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will also bring experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and a working knowledge of the Cloud App Factory (CAF) to help guide cloud-native architecture and deployment.
The PPD application is a centralized tool used to manage and track research projects, resources, and timelines within the organization. It supports project lifecycle visibility, reporting, and strategic planning. The rewrite aims to modernize the platform for improved performance, usability, and integration with new modules-starting with a time tracking feature to enhance operational transparency and resource management.
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications as part of the PPD modernization effort.
Build responsive, high-performance UI components using Angular, TypeScript, and NgRx/Redux.
Develop RESTful APIs with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and integrate them with front-end applications.
Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 and protect API endpoints.
Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, and other relational databases.
Manage database versioning and migrations with Liquibase.
Write unit and integration tests for both front-end (Jasmine/Karma) and back-end (JUnit).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Apply Google Cloud Platform best practices and align development with Cloud App Factory principles.
Use Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure as code.
Required Skills & Experience:

Familiarity with Cloud App Factory and CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of design patterns and software development best practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Agile development experience preferred

Job Summary: client Clinic is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build back-end services that support our portfolio of data-centric clinical and analytic applications. These applications leverage cloud computing, big data, mobile, data science, data warehousing, machine learning using state of the art software development applications and frameworks. Our Software Engineers ensures that these cloud-based micro-services adhere to uptime and accuracy targets, are resilient, and scale as data volumes and traffic increase. They work closely with the data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to develop applications as required to benefit our practice and patients.
Job Responsibilities:
-Works closely with the Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects to translate requirements into code.
-Developing services around data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, business intelligence, analytics and machine learning.
-Participate in DevOps, Agile, continuous development and integration frameworks.
-Programming in high-level languages such as Go, Python, Java etc.
-Work on deployment automation/configuration management with tools including but not limited to ADO, Puppet, Chef or Ansible or Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, Terraform following a DevOps model.
-Ensure all appropriate documentation of processes and source code is created and maintained.
-Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and customers throughout the organization.
-Participate in expert level troubleshooting and resolve problems through root cause analysis, data and system investigation.
-Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
-Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments.
-Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.

Education: Required Education:-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.OR-Associates' degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with an additional two (2) years of experience as described below:-Working knowledge and experience of Software Engineering with a minimum of internships and a minimum of one (1) year of experience.OR-Two (2) years of experience coding applications or services in a high-level language (C, C++, Golang, Java, C# etc.).

Pay rate: $65/hr on W2.
