"Job Title: Manager Network & Voice Services

Key Responsibilities
Network Strategy & Operations
Oversee the planning, implementation, and support of enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and voice systems.
Develop and enforce operational standards, procedures, and performance KPIs across network services.
Ensure compliance with network security protocols and healthcare regulations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, coach, and develop the Network Services team to ensure high performance, accountability, and alignment with business goals.
Work cross-functionally within a matrixed organization to support infrastructure and application teams.
Serve as the point of contact for internal stakeholders and strategic vendors.
Architecture & Design
Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-efficient network architecture and transformation plans.
Perform mid-to-long-term planning that aligns with OU Health s digital and operational objectives.
Project & Vendor Management
Collaborate with IT and business leadership to execute strategic initiatives and new implementations.
Manage third-party solution providers and vendor relationships to meet SLA targets and service expectations.
Compliance, Reporting & Documentation
Ensure compliance with ITIL practices, change management processes, and data governance.
Maintain CMDB and knowledge base documentation.
Provide metrics and insights on service delivery, system availability, and incident management.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive IT leadership within a large academic health system.
Experience across both acute and ambulatory healthcare environments.
Strong understanding of Cisco networking, ITIL practices, and service operations.

Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of OSI model (Layers 1 3), VLANs, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, and VPNs
Hands-on experience with Cisco infrastructure and network security tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proven track record in IT service delivery, vendor management, and strategic planning
Strong leadership capabilities with emotional intelligence and resilience
