BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated "Agile Coach" for an opportunity in US - Charlotte, NC 28255



Position Title: Agile Coach


Location: Charlotte, NC 28255

Job Type: 40 hours work week


Pay Rate: $90/hr - $95/hr on W2



Job Description


This individual will be responsible for end-to-end management across various deliverables for the Modern Data Platform (Hadoop) transformational program. This will involve high rigor, attention to detail and high complexity in a fast-paced environment. Will be responsible for enabling teams and Agile Release Trains to learn, implement, and mature Lean Agile principles and practices. Key responsibilities include training and coaching teams and lead roles on Agile and modern engineering practices and mentoring more junior Agile Coaches. This role empowers teams to become self-managing, fulfill their cross functional potential, and form an attitude of relentless improvement. They provide thought leadership relate d to Lean Agile, based on the experience they have built through multiple Agile transformation efforts, educating and influencing leaders, and guiding significant improvements to the operating model and the end to end delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
Presentations to senior management
Working with technical Hadoop resources
Partner with central project management team
Hold resources accountable to agreed-to task completion dates
Perform hands on training/coaching with teams in all aspects of Lean Agile.
Lead roles, teams, and leaders to embrace a Lean Agile and learning mindset.
Provide guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies.
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution across teams and with stakeholders, including external teams, business partners, and other Agile Release Trains/programs.
Ideal candidate will be a strong leader who will be heavily utilizing their Agile Scrum skills as well as Agile Jira tools as part of the day-to-day management to drive out the project deliverables and hold project resources accountable to agreed-to delivery dates. Excellent PowerPoint, Visio skills are a must. Ability to work with teammates across all personalities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience and technical knowledge of Hadoop is required. Plus. 7+ plus years of relevant experience
