Title: Application Programmer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Compensation
Pay range:$47.04-$67.20/Hrs

Description
Participate in the transformation and implementation of critical batch processing within the tech organization.
Work as part of an agile scrum team to refine requirements and design solutions.
Develop high-quality ETL code, Unix scripts, and scalable database systems.
Act as a hands-on architect and developer to drive design and implementation initiatives.
Collaborate with users to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various groups and levels within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop ETL solutions and database systems.
Collaborate with team members to refine requirements and design solutions.
Develop and optimize database queries and scripts.
Engage in agile practices such as pair programming and daily stand-ups.
Ensure high-quality code and architecture through hands-on development.

Qualifications
10 years of professional experience in ETL development.
Experience with database systems and query performance optimization.
Strong skills in PL/SQL and stored procedures.
5-10 years of experience in a Unix environment and shell scripting.
Experience working in an Agile framework.
Knowledge of data warehousing and OLTP solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
