Job Description:
- Client is seeking a top-rated technologist with the experience and background in the financial services industry that will enable them to excel in a dynamic and highly technical environment. The candidate will work on enhancing applications that support our trading desks. These include applications that are built entirely in-house as well as processes that work with vendor-based applications.
- The successful candidate will need technological skills as well as organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience working in a sell side brokerage firm
- 3+ years experience in working on an order / execution management system (OMS/EMS)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong documentation skill
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative / matrix environment
