Axiom Controller View Developer/Tester - Contract Position

Company Overview

We are seeking experienced contractors to join our Axiom Implementation Phase 2 project, focusing on regulatory reporting automation and functional testing across critical Federal Reserve reports.

Position Summary

We are looking for skilled Axiom ControllerView developers and testers to perform functional component testing and development for five key regulatory reports as part of our second phase Axiom implementation. This role combines technical development expertise with comprehensive testing capabilities to ensure accurate and compliant regulatory reporting.

Key Reports in Scope

• FRY-9C (Consolidated Financial Statements for Holding Companies)
• FFIEC 002 (Report of Condition and Income for Edge and Agreement Corporations)
• FFIEC 031 (Call Report for banks with domestic offices only)
• FRY-15 (Systemic Risk Report)
• FFIEC 009 (Country Exposure Report)

All reports are quarterly submissions to the Federal Reserve with multiple schedules requiring complex data integration from Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and various subledgers.

Primary Responsibilities

Development & Implementation

• Own end-to-end deliverables including upstream data analysis, data sourcing, and building allocation rules
• Conduct high and low-level design, development, testing, and coding for regulatory reports
• Build automation testing frameworks for Axiom platform
• Perform unit testing and integration testing while participating in configuration management
• Support UAT and production activities

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain test scripts and test cases specific to each report/schedule
• Conduct line-level (MDRM) data reviews to ensure completeness and identify data quality issues
• Perform system functionality testing including drill-through capabilities, report generation, and data loading
• Execute historical report versioning and accessibility checks
• Test workflow processes, version saving/locking functionality, and submission capabilities
• Conduct maker/checker reviews and cross-checks with inter-series validation
• Escalate issues and participate in remediation working groups

Documentation & Reporting

• Create comprehensive test case documentation for each report/schedule under review
• Review report schedule development for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain detailed results reporting and issue tracking
• Document system functionality and process improvements

Required Qualifications

Must-Have Technical Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Axiom/Adenza ControllerView experience
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting products (FRY-15, FRY-9C, Call Reports, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009A)
• Advanced SQL query development and optimization
• Python programming proficiency
• Design patterns expertise for regulatory reporting solutions
• JIRA experience (creating, updating, and closing tickets)
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting

• Capital market product nuances and regulatory compliance requirements
• Large-scale data analysis and complex data sourcing methodologies
• Building allocation rules and data transformation logic
• Agile development methodologies and practices
• CI/CD pipeline experience and platform upgrades
• Configuration management and deployment procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Federal Reserve reporting requirements
• Financial services industry background
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit processes
• Familiarity with financial data warehousing concepts
