Job Description and Responsibilities
This role is in the People Systems team which owns the workday products. This A team in this group partners with the People M&A team on all things Workday. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR technology enthusiast. Reporting to Snr Manager - M&A, People Systems, rolling up to the Employee Experience group in People Systems, they get to dive into the system needs for any new acquisitions or set up of any legal entity. This role will also have a pivotal role to play in carrying out QA and testing of workday configurations.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure Payroll set-up and HCM modules in Workday to meet requirements of establishing a company while ensuring data integrity with the overall product
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for payroll and HCM configurations
  • Assist with the configuration of benefits modules for standing up the companies in Workday ensuring alignment with overall product
  • Liaison with the product teams to ensure open communication and consistency
  • QA and UAT: Draft test scripts, work with the CoEs to complete testing and obtain sign-off within the timelines per project plan
  • Research and Analysis: Curious and comfortable to carry out research or analysis for potential solutions for business problems
  • Stakeholder management: Collaborate and effectively communicate with the CoEs and PM to ensure alignment

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 2 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
  • Successful track record of delivery of Workday projects
  • Understanding of People Technology stack and core People processes
  • Experience working in large/global corporate environments
  • Excellent written and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in HR integration projects with Workday
  • Experience in workday projects in the area of payroll and HCM
  • Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and critical thinking skills to solve problems
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
