RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in search of a VP of Technical Operations to join their team in NJ. This position is full time, direct hire and fully on-site.

Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Technical Operations to lead and evolve our technical infrastructure and operations. This executive-level role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, driving automation, and ensuring operational excellence across IT, Solutions, and MIS functions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee IT governance, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of infrastructure changes
* Lead cross-functional teams in IT, Solutions, and MIS to develop and execute long-term technology strategies
* Manage disaster recovery planning and ensure infrastructure uptime meets business and customer SLAs
* Develop and manage the annual operating budget for technical operations
* Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices across all technical departments
* Direct security operations, including email, FTP, data servers, and directory services
* Negotiate and manage vendor service agreements and coordinate with external partners for major repairs
* Lead database and software development projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
* Maintain compliance with SOC2 Type II certification standards
* Design and implement automation initiatives to enhance system integration and workflow efficiency
* Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful project execution
* Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure delivery within scope and budget
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes from order entry to billing
* Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and manufacturing teams to meet business needs

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
* 10+ years of experience in IT operations, including 5+ years in a leadership role
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with technologies such as Windows, Linux, VMware, SQL, and Veeam
* Strong background in workflow optimization, process automation, and project management
* Deep understanding of network infrastructure, telecommunications, and data privacy regulations
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical projects
* Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis platforms
* Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
