Job Details

Role: Data Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Key Qualifications:

Extensive experience (10+ years) in T-SQL stored procedures and complex query development.

Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in Snowflake Platform Architecture.

Familiarity with a variety of tools including Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Bitbucket, GIT, and Liquibase.

Strong ability in documenting solutions and architectures effectively.

Proficiency in scripting using tools such as PowerShell, Python, C#, or .NET.

Experience in AWS cloud services including EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, and Lambda, particularly in database and data management contexts.

Competence in additional database technologies such as Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Experience in SQL query performance tuning, including proficiency with Profiler, indexing, and understanding of optimizer and execution plans.

Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows, unit testing and integration testing, and deployment patterns.

Deep understanding of AWS resources is a must.

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Platforms: Python, Airflow, ElasticSearch.

A plus if experienced in database automation and management tools.

  • To support MS SQL programming need strong knowledge also on ETL side
  • Role is of MS SQL developer, pure backend coding
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in T-SQL stored procedures and complex query development.s
  • Snowflake knowledge is required to be successful in role,performance tuning, CI /CD pipeline, strong understanding of CI/CD workflows, unit testing and integration testing, and deployment patterns.
  • AWS knowledge required
  • Scripting language-C# , powershell
  • 1 year contract, may extend if project extends depending on performance
  • Interview- first phone interview with HM, second Zoom with project team members (s1-2 hours duration)
  • 3 days in week onsite at Santa clara, CA
