Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect with deep expertise in designing and delivering Ad Sales CRM solutions for the advertising industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience integrating Operative (formerly Operative One/AOS) with Salesforce, strong technical leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving end-to-end implementations that optimize advertising revenue workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

Lead the design of Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud architectures tailored to ad sales, sponsorship, and agency relationship management

Translate business requirements from revenue operations, traffic, and finance teams into scalable technical solutions

Define data models, integration patterns, and system interfaces for Operative-to-Salesforce synchronization

Integration Leadership

Architect and oversee the integration of Operative OMS (Operative One/AOS) with Salesforce, ensuring real-time or near-real-time data flows for opportunities, orders, billing, and inventory

Select and configure middleware patterns (e.g., Mulesoft, custom Apex integrations, ETL) to support robust data exchange

Establish monitoring, error-handling, and reconciliation processes for mission-critical advertising transactions

Implementation & Delivery

Partner with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to deliver end-to-end implementations on time and within budget

Author technical design documents, solution blueprints, and governance frameworks

Conduct architecture reviews, code/design walkthroughs, and performance tuning sessions

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex Salesforce and Operative integration issues

Mentor and coach developers, admins, and consultants on best practices for Salesforce customizations, APIs, and integration techniques

Drive platform adoption by delivering architecture lunch & learns and stakeholder workshops

Governance & Quality Assurance

Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, branch/release management, and CI/CD pipelines

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), and internal security policies

Conduct regular architecture health checks and ensure alignment with evolving Salesforce roadmap

Required Qualifications

Salesforce Expertise:

Salesforce Certified Application, System, or Integration Architect

8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud implementations

Deep knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration patterns

Advertising Industry Experience:

5+ years working in ad sales, media buying, or agency relationship management domains

Familiarity with media revenue workflows, order management, traffic systems, and inventory forecasting

Operative Integration:

Direct experience architecting and delivering Operative OMS (Operative One/AOS) to Salesforce integrations

Expertise in middleware solutions (MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom ETL/API approaches)

Technical Leadership:

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders

Strong communication skills: translating complex technical concepts into business-ready language

Education & Other:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
