ERP Implementation Consultant Contract: 18months +
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid 3days onsite)

Overview

The ERP Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the successful transformation of a variety of Student Information Systems (SIS) integrations. While the implementation of a new SIS platform is at the core of the transformation program, there are also several other components that are equally important to the program s success. This ideal candidate will have a strong functional and technical background in addition to program management skills to be responsible for Program Ownership, Strategic Planning, Team Leadership, System Integration and Stakeholder Engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field is required
  • PMP, PgMP or equivalent certification is strongly desired
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is preferred
  • 7+ years of related leadership experience in technology-related roles
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale systems implementation projects from conception to completion
  • Previous project budgeting experience for large-scale projects ($5M+)
  • Experience implementing a major Student Information Solution (SIS) such as Banner, Colleague, Workday Student, Moodle, etc.
  • Expert knowledge of the principles and practices of project management
  • High business acumen with demonstrated ability to critically assess the relationship between business value and technical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level systems, including ERP, CRM, LMS, SIS and other administrative and academic platforms
  • Solid understanding of the principles of enterprise architecture and solution architecture
  • Strong understanding of the principles of software development and integration design

Responsibilities

  • Proper definition of business success metrics
  • Map business processes to the appropriate systems
  • Design and build appropriate integration architecture
  • Build a reporting solution that integrates with the new SIS
