Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned Software Engineer II to become a key contributor within our development team. The right candidate will possess robust technical expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with proficiency in hybrid architectures involving both on-premise and cloud-based systems. You'll be responsible for crafting scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.

• Build and maintain applications using technologies like C#, .NET (Core & MVC), Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and front-end frameworks including React, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Develop unit tests using xUnit to ensure robust code with high test coverage.
• Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications in collaboration with team members, architects, and product managers.
• Participate in architecture design to promote scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Design and implement APIs, microservices, and interactive UI components to support end-to-end functionality.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS to build hybrid or cloud-native applications.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps strategies for seamless delivery and deployment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to performance, availability, and security across different environments.
• Conduct peer code reviews and enforce coding best practices.

• Maintain adherence to standards including SOX, PCI-DSS, and other security compliance frameworks.

• Partner with security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and risks.
• Engage in audits, perform risk assessments, and contribute to disaster recovery initiatives.
• Document quality assurance procedures aligning with ISO, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Ensure business requirements are traceable through well-documented test cases and defect tracking.

• 5 8+ years of hands-on experience working with:

  • C#, .NET (MVC & Core), Entity Framework Core, SQL Server
  • React, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Skilled in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong expertise in platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Deep understanding of microservices, API development, and distributed systems.
• Familiar with CI/CD, DevOps tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git, Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban, and collaboration platforms.

• Background in building Hybrid Cloud solutions.

• Hands-on with Azure DevOps, test automation, and deployment tools.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience in cross-functional team environments.
• Familiarity with the insurance domain is a strong advantage.
