Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with unit leader and job incumbent in May and June on a weekly basis prior to her leave to familiarize themselves with plans for spending on projects including several grants, and plans for end of year spending generally to prepare for end of year close.
  • Complete the financial end of year close process.
  • Approve expenses on a monthly basis for the staff with credit cards and ensure correct accounts are being used.
  • Support new vendor set up and processing purchase orders in Oracle.
  • Submit unit budget for new fiscal year if unable to be completed before incumbent's leave begins.
