Network Engineer, Senior

Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs.
As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your skills to help support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures, or increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 8+ years of experience with designing, deploying, and advanced support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
- 5+ years of experience deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting multivendor network equipment and solutions, including VMWare, Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, HPE, or Juniper
- Experience with classified networks
- Knowledge of security, routing and switching protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP, VPLS, STP, or L3VPNs
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with STIGing or security hardening of systems
- Experience with NESSUS, ACAS, or security analysis tools
- Experience with operating, deploying, or administering Linux or Unix systems and VMWare
- CCNA, CCNP, VMWare, Linux, JN CIA , or JNCP Certification
- Security+ Certification
