Job Title: Azure Engineer Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Specialist
Location: Princeton, NJ / Remote (US, Canada, India)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform within the Azure DevOps (ADO) environment. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to transition infrastructure deployments from traditional Azure Portal and ARM templates to fully automated Terraform-based workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage Terraform-based IaC solutions for Azure infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support automated infrastructure deployments.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to modernize deployment strategies, moving from manual/ARM-based methods to Terraform.
  • Ensure infrastructure code is version-controlled, modular, and reusable.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide best practice guidance for infrastructure automation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Azure engineering with a strong focus on IaC.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for deploying Azure resources.
  • Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for infrastructure deployment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Virtual Networks, App Services, Key Vaults, Azure AD, etc.).
  • Experience transitioning from ARM templates and Azure Portal to Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in multi-region deployments or working across global teams.
  • Familiarity with Git repositories, branching strategies, and version control best practices.
  • Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Terraform Associate are a plus.
