Description
We are looking for an experienced Asset Management Business Architect to join our team. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone eager to contribute to large-scale IT projects and drive advancements in asset lifecycle planning, reliability, and infrastructure sustainability. The role offers the opportunity to evaluate current practices, identify improvement areas, and develop governance structures to enhance asset management maturity.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing asset management practices and identify opportunities for improvement against recognized industry standards.
Develop and implement structured Critical Asset Plans (CAPs) that align with best practices for lifecycle planning and maintenance strategies.
Create formalized Asset Management Policies that support organizational strategic goals and objectives.
Establish governance frameworks, defining roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for effective oversight.
Perform detailed gap analyses to compare current practices against standards such as ISO 55000.
Design and execute strategies for integrating and managing accurate asset-related data across multiple systems.
Engage stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment of operational, financial, and technological considerations.
Document and communicate asset management plans, strategies, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
Provide regular project updates, highlighting risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
Facilitate workshops and discussions to promote collaboration and drive consensus on asset management initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
At least 10 years of experience implementing structured asset management strategies in utility environments.
Proven ability to develop Critical Asset Plans (CAPs) or Asset Management Plans (AMPs) aligned with industry standards.
Expertise in performing gap analyses against frameworks such as ISO 55000.
Strong knowledge of data management strategies and systems integration within utility contexts.
Experience with ERP and CRM systems, including configuration and scripting.
Proficiency in cloud technologies, API development, and business process functions.
Familiarity with tools and methodologies like AB testing and configuration management.
