Job Description:

Engineering Network Support Technician

Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and protocols, to support the semiconductor manufacturing process. This includes troubleshooting hardware failures, software issues, and connectivity problems, as well as maintaining and updating network systems. Play a role in enhancing network security and performance.

This position will be working onsite, Monday - Friday during typical daytime business hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and set up licenses on the server and set up appropriate configurations for industry specific equipment
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux system support and equipment collaboration
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues affecting network connectivity, including routers, switches, servers, and workstations.
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
  • Assist with the deployment of new network technologies and provide technical support to users and other IT staff.
  • Document network processes and configurations for future reference.
  • Work with other IT and manufacturing teams and departments to ensure seamless network operations.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5 years or more experience in network support roles in a manufacturing environment
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Processes: Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is preferred
