Job Description:

Information Technology - Connectivity Engineer II

Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and protocols, to support the semiconductor manufacturing process. This includes troubleshooting hardware failures, software issues, and connectivity problems, as well as maintaining and updating network systems. Play a role in enhancing network security and performance

This position will work fully onsite, 5 days a week during daytime business hours. There is some flexibility with the daily start time.

Our team develops test programs and integrates testing for the development of sensors for automotive safety. Experience in the semiconductor industry with IT and Linux is highly desirable.

Job Description:

Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure for ATE tester and Mechanical ATE, including hardware, software, and protocols, to support semiconductor tester such as the Advantest 93K and the SPEA dot 800. This includes troubleshooting hardware failures, software issues, and connectivity problems, as well as maintaining and updating network systems. Play a role in enhancing network security and performance.

Install and set up licenses on the server and set up appropriate configurations for industry specific equipment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux system support and equipment collaboration

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues affecting network connectivity, including routers, switches, servers, and workstations.

Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.

Assist with the deployment of new network technologies and provide technical support to users and other IT staff.

Document network processes and configurations for future reference.

Work with other IT team members and components to ensure seamless network operations.

Required Technical Skills:

(listed in order of importance) Linux, Red Hat 7.9, CollabNet, NI license administrator

Soft Skills:

Able to communicate well with other team member and follow specific instructions given by Test Engineer and Management
