CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation's Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Civil CAD Designer to join our dynamic and collaborative team in San Juan!
The CAD Designer plays an essential role in supporting a wide range of projects. This role focuses on developing detailed technical drawings and designs, calculating material quantities, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The CAD Designer works closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

The CAD Designer works closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Duties Include
- Prepare accurate presentation, design, and construction documents using AutoCAD.
Collaborate and coordinate with the project team, including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
Interpret relevant codes, regulations, and client requirements to guide the design process.
Implement and utilize established CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
Calculate quantities, areas, and other essential data necessary for land development civil engineering designs.
Travel periodically to perform site investigations, take measurements, and observe construction progress, followed by the preparation of detailed reports and exhibits.
Assist in compiling construction plans from all disciplines and ensure timely submission to agencies with jurisdiction.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Suite softwares and drafting techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is a plus
Education:
- Associates Degree or Computer-Aided Design Certificate
