Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in .NET Core, React, Node.js, and AWS to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions that drive our global operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust full-stack applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and Node.js.
  
• Architect and deploy serverless solutions on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).
  
• Lead efforts in optimizing application performance, scalability, and security.
  
• Implement modern CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, and deploy innovative solutions.
  
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in code quality, design, and cloud architecture.
  
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high availability of applications.
  
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend new approaches and solutions as appropriate.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with full-stack expertise.
  
• Advanced proficiency in .NET Core, C#, React, and Node.js.
  
• Deep experience with AWS Cloud Services, especially serverless architectures.
  
• Proven success designing and implementing microservices, event-driven systems, and containerized applications.
  
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  
• Familiarity with application security, performance optimization, and observability tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch).
  
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, lead, and collaborate across technical and business teams.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with legacy systems (VB.NET, Web Forms, SQL Server).
  
• Prior experience working in or integrating with vendor platforms (e.g., Servicengine).
  

Salary Range:

As part of our commitment to equity and transparency, our salary bands are openly shared. Compensation for this role depends on market location and experience, and typically ranges from $110-160k/year CAD
