The Data Discovery Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Data Privacy, and will support operation of the Data Discovery Program. Working closely with Privacy, Security, and Technology Teams, this position will help promote data protection efforts within the organization while assisting with the continued growth of the Data Discovery Program. You will help manage the Data Discovery tool, findings, remediation efforts, and program metrics as a primary analyst supporting the Senior Director. Additionally, the Data Discovery Analyst will be a versatile team player, displaying leadership qualities and enthusiasm in maturing this key program across the enterprise.

This position works from our office in St. Louis, Missouri with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. (This is NOT a fully-remote role.) This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

What you'll do:
  • Play an active role in continuously improving the Data Discovery Program, including building workflows and processes with a focus on automation.
  • Analyze tool outputs and obtain validation of findings by working with application owners.
  • Assist, monitor, and document remediation efforts with application owners.
  • Support program maturity by developing and implementing improvements related to program reporting and metrics.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, standards and procedures that support program objectives.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain all existing program dashboards and reports and develop new reports as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries and questions from internal stakeholders regarding the Data Discovery Program.
  • Support the development of training and job aids related to the Data Discovery Program.

What experience you need:
  • Bachelor's degree -- focus on information systems, data science and technology, computer science, business, or similar field.
  • 1+ years of experience as a business analyst, program manager, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel, Google Sheets.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, data validation, data visualization or storytelling, and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical, critical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Experience in reporting on operational data and developing operational metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on informing, influencing and relationship building for both technical and non-technical partners.
