POSITION SUMMARY: AEO is searching for a Manager - HRIS Data & Reporting to build and own HR data infrastructure, pipeline integrity and reporting tool strategies to deliver data that provides insights, enhances the employee experience and drives continued growth of the organization. This role will be focused on developing the foundations for critical analytics and reporting ensuring advanced usage of the available data, tools and architecture. You will lead a team and collaborate with leaders across AEO to drive innovation and data-informed decisions.

POSITION SUMMARY: AEO is searching for a Manager - HRIS Data & Reporting to build and own HR data infrastructure, pipeline integrity and reporting tool strategies to deliver data that provides insights, enhances the employee experience and drives continued growth of the organization. This role will be focused on developing the foundations for critical analytics and reporting ensuring advanced usage of the available data, tools and architecture. You will lead a team and collaborate with leaders across AEO to drive innovation and data-informed decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the ongoing optimization of our human resources data strategy and infrastructure ensuring scalability, reliability, compliance and security to ensure data integrity, performance and accessibility
- Provide day-to-day work management, technical guidance, strategic direction, problem resolution and career path development for HRIS data & reporting team
- Define and support key metrics and performance indicators to assess workforce performance, retention, engagement, culture and organizational health
- Oversee the creation of data visualization, reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and a comprehensive view of our workforce in conjunction with People Analytics team
- Design and implement effective ETL processes to integrate, transform and harmonize data from a variety of sources and platforms to support analysis
- Increase automation and streamline existing workflows to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Partner with Manager - People Analytics team to ensure analytics-ready data, align on realistic priorities based on data and reporting capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting HR and people analytics with experience building and leading the functions of the team in addition to technical ability
- Technical expertise with Oracle Fusion HCM or similar platforms with strong understanding of HR data structures in cloud based environments such as Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Tableau and SQL with fluency in a data science languages such as Python, R and VBA
- Advanced expertise with Excel and Google Sheets
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage), experience designing and building data pipelines and understanding of data warehousing concepts is strongly preferred
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify opportunities, establish plans and drive outcomes
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously including adapting where required to changes in business priorities
- Must live within a commutable distance of Pittsburgh and work in the office at least 1-2 days per week

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
